Full Job Description

The Mill Operator has an important part in supporting the mill operations process, contributing directly to the achievement of business goals, and ensuring feed safety and health standards are maintained.,

  • Weigh and load finished product lorries with the correct feed types, conducting quality checks.

  • Maintain required hygiene levels in the mill.

  • Weigh raw material vehicles in and out of site, ensuring quality checks and proper routing.

  • Prepare and supply hand-tip additions for blending.

  • Conduct stock checks and perform press and blending operations when required.

  • Undertake swabbing and sampling processes., Shift patterns may vary from time to time, so flexibility is necessary.

You will contribute to the success of the business by ensuring that the mill performs at its best allowing production targets to be met.

  • Prior experience in food/agricultural/production environments

  • Working with automated plant machinery

  • Feed mill experience (Desirable)

  • FLT License (Desirable)

    Contract and Shift details: Permanent, 2-week rotating pattern with flexibility for working days to move. Shift Example below:


    • Week 1 - 4 X 10hr, 1 X 8hr days flexing between Monday to Saturday Week 2 - 4 X 12hr Nights 6pm - 6am flexing between Sunday to Friday,
