Full Job Description

Angling Direct are looking for a highly commercial and driven individual, to come and join their ever-growing in-house Marketing Team. They are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who is switched on by creativeness and can implement ideas, projects, and report on their success. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, and working closely with an established team of designers, videographers and web developers, you will be tasked with implementing complex strategies and campaigns.,

  • To support the Marketing Manager and ecommerce teams in the development and effective implementation of the brand strategy across the digital platforms

  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organising presentations and updating calendars

  • To develop and drive digital content strategy, ensuring content is both compelling and fully integrated across multiple channels - online and in store

  • To increase relevance of the brand to consumers across social media as well as manage those social channels and create media strategically to support the digital objectives

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual UK and EU Marketing plans, with particular reference to the digital sphere - focusing on our own channels

  • Initiate targeted supplier campaigns, to elevate brand partnerships and maximise available brand assets

  • Support in the management and maintenance of all social media channels and manage the community interaction

  • Assist in the creation of digital campaigns, strategy and drive improvements

  • Co-ordinate monthly department reports including tracking marketing performance and activities and creating the monthly presentation

  • Co-ordinate detailed on-going analysis of marketing/supplier campaigns to ensure targets are met

  • Supporting quarterly reports such as customer surveys and NPS survey

  • Making sure all budgetary spend, supplier agreements and payments are processed within company guidelines and ensure legal & regulatory compliance of all marketing initiatives / creative work are met

    An eye for detail and comfortable managing several projects at once

  • Strong ability to establish a tone of voice and understand our customer base

  • Creative and able to produce innovative ideas

  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal relationship building skills with a strong eye for design

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite/Content management systems


  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Knowledge of Asana, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey and Hootsuite


  • Able to work flexibly, to handle change and to work as part of a team

  • Able to accurately produce and analyse reports and documentation

  • Possession of and ability to use initiative

  • Self-motivated, able to effectively prioritise and plan workload to strict deadlines

  • Highly commercial and driven to deliver growth
