Maintenance Technician

As a member of the engineering team, you will be part of an adaptable, friendly and target focused department who always look to work collaboratively across the business and with each other. The role works on a 4-on-4-off shift rota, working 6am - 6pm on days 1 and 2, then 6pm to 6am on days 3 and 4.

We are looking for an individual who is a natural problem solver with an aptitude to drive performance, practical, embraces standards and routines and has a flexible attitude to work. The ability to implement changes and improvements within the department and wider business would also be advantageous.

As part of the role, some of the main duties you will be expected to carry out are as follows (this is not an exhaustive list):

• Work towards the PPM system


• Attending breakdown and performance issues of equipment


• Implementation and alterations of machinery/equipment in the factory


• Installation and maintenance of building fabric


• Maintenance of stock control systems


• Work on relevant projects as required


• Supply insightful knowledge and help develop and improve existing processes


• Ensure the highest standards of quality, hygiene, food safety and H&S are adhered to


• Identify and report any unsafe operations or acts and where possible, provide feedback or suggestions in relation to H&S or otherwise for the purpose of continuous improvement


• Ensure working standards and practices are adhered to


• Participate in all aspects of Primula's Operational Excellence program
  
  A-Level or equivalent (preferred), Maintenance Technician: 2 years (required)
