Full Job Description

As Leasehold Manager, you'll take responsibility for the effective management of all Group leasehold interests and Group freehold interests where leases have been granted. You'll assist with the recording of data and development of measures, ensuring leasehold and freehold interests are effectively managed. This includes attending AGMs, reviewing invoices, and checking lease rights and responsibilities.

You'll also lead on our managing agent activities and help deliver high-quality standards within the Legal Team. By keeping up to date on the latest developments in leasehold management and providing solutions to the business to tackle new challenges., Ø Opportunities for development (including apprenticeships, our Academy, and various training options).

We're looking for someone with experience of reading and interpreting leases, managing contracts to quality and budget, and collating, interpreting and delivering insight on property/service data. You should be able to convey your message clearly, influence and persuade with compelling arguments for improved business performance, and use information about customers' needs as the basis of problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational action. You should also be competent in using Microsoft Office packages and will need a driving license.

In terms of qualifications, you should be educated to A Level standard or equivalent. Ideally, you should be educated to degree standard and hold an IPRM qualification/member or similar.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your ability to take ownership of a function, relying on your knowledge and experience to solve novel, but related issues. You'll also develop your legal knowledge in relation to leasehold, including lease extensions and interpretation of leases without support. Furthermore, you'll develop the ability to effectively manage a team and workload focused on leasehold management whilst seeking to embed improvements wherever possible.
