Full Job Description

The post holder is a Project Manager within Medical Imaging and Medical Physics and is responsible for the planning, procurement and the management roll out of iRefer within the Trust and to local Sheffield Primary Care.
The post holder will provide specialist project management knowledge for the Department and all relevant iRefer stakeholders across the Trust including: Sheffield GPs and will liaise with South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. The PM will be a role model leader for wider iRefer team members., + Be responsible for the iRefer Project Management project, ensuring process effectiveness and compliance within Informatics, Radiology Imaging, STH business units and other third-party requirements as appropriate. Effectiveness will be measured by performance against the agreed Service Level and Operational Level Agreement's and also against any relevant contractual obligations of suppliers.
+ Develop and implement an appropriate communication and engagement strategy: identifying key stakeholders and, where required, establishing, and maintaining their support of the project.
+ Establish positive working relationships quickly at all levels of the organisations involved in the iRefer implementation, managing the workload and responding to conflicting priorities as required.
+ Provide project management leadership and expert advice to project meetings and other project managers and project teams connected to iRefer throughout the organisation to ensure that best practice, standards, tools, and techniques are in place., You will be working for an organisation which values and respects all of its staff and the community it serves. Medical Imaging and Medical Physics is also an Academic Directorate with close links to universities, locally and nationally, and a focus on strengthening research and innovation to improve clinical care., This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months due to the post being externally funded. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the ongoing source of the external funding and the requirement for the post to be maintained.
