Full Job Description

  • Maintain a strong commercial and customer focus, fostering partnerships between Sales, commercial, design and manufacturing.

  • Researching relevant organisations and individuals to find

  • new opportunities.
  • Review RFQ's received through generic que address with

  • KAM.
  • Provide formal quotations for review.

  • Assist in internal processes to ensure timely and efficient

  • quote processes with commercial, design and manufacturing.
  • Assist in communication with the supply chain to main

  • quotation.
  • Provide updates on team opportunities on Dynamics.

  • Co-ordinate with KAM on team opportunities and proactively chase up incremental sales.

  • Create new opportunities.

  • Close off opportunities and provide the handover process

  • between sales, finance, and projects teams.
  • Provide customer feedback.


  • Internal Processes
  • Accountable for checking/obtaining project handover with

  • SKAM to Design, Commercial and Finance teams in accordance
    with current processes.
  • Ensure accurate pricing of tenders for work with

  • commercial team and SKAM with agreed profit margins, and
    within operational capability.
  • Timely entry of leads into CRM system together with

  • communication to Line Manager, Projects and Finance Team of
    Leads that are being progressed towards a potential contract.
  • Production of Sales reports and trends to SKAM.

  • Complete all mandatory assigned training courses within

  • timeframe allocated and continually maintain professional
    knowledge. You are responsible for ensuring that all CSCS cards,
    similar scheme or competency cards that you are required to hold
    are maintained.
  • Maintain good communications with clients and

  • colleagues, responding in a timely manner to emails, text
    messages or phone calls, and ensuring relevant information is
    passed on quickly. Attend and set up internal meetings as
    required.
  • Quality, Health, Safety, Welfare and the Environment

  • (QHSE). Observe all company QHSE policies, procedures and other instructions and ensure all concerns observed or reported are submitted to the QHSE Compliance department. Notify the office without delay of any incidents, near misses or H&S concerns.
  • Other duties as necessary and directed to meet the needs

  • of the company.

  • In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 4 Sales Executive qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures.

  • Our training is all complete remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7.

  • You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours.

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Creative, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above) Essential

  • NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent Any (Grade Pass) Essential
