Full Job Description

Located in Sale, Manchester, support with data entry, client booking, general client administration, and build up knowledge of our systems. You must be comfortable using Excel as this matters for your ability to grow in future. Full training given, you bring drive, potential, and learning.

Accountabilities

  • Provide admin support to our Financial Planners.

  • Preparing pre client meeting packs and policy valuation summaries for our Financial Planners.

  • Data entry for clients (e.g. updating changes to address details).

  • Data maintenance aligned to policy valuations.

  • Print and send prepared information and reports to clients.

  • Speak with providers on the phone to chase information and progress cases.

  • Support our Letter of Authority (requests for policy information) process - ensuring the correct authorisations have been given.

  • Respond to email enquiries and liaise directly with clients under guidance of manager.

  • Support Financial Planner diary management (e.g. booking client meetings).

    Full training given, primarily we require someone keen to learn, with confident excel skills, a can-do attitude, who wants to open up potential career opportunities.

  • Strong attention to detail is a must - our clients expect the best!

  • Must be computer literate as you'll need to be able to learn our systems.

  • Intermediate Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables).

  • If you've worked in a professional office based environment before, flag that on your CV.

  • Strong written English.

  • If you have done data entry before, flag that on your CV.

  • If you've had a part-time admin job, that's also useful to know.

  • Ability to attend the office 4 days per week until you are up to speed (then we can have some more flex on home working).

    This is a 6 month contract, but we have a track record of hiring good people off the back of this programme (especially if you develop data or process skills). As a growing Financial Planning company every year we need people to support us on client admin. We have tried and tested career paths where after learning our administration systems you can move into paraplanning and Financial Advice (the reason we hire graduates is we need people with the potential to grow).
