Full Job Description

The White Bull in Oswaldtwistle are recruiting for an Apprentice Front of House Assistant, the successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member qualification.,

  • Set up the bar

  • Check table numbers and bookings

  • Check all glasses are clean

  • Maintenance on all drink machines

  • Ensure all condiments are full on tables

  • Cutlery polishing

  • Cutting fresh fruit for the bar

  • Eventually cellar management

  • Serving food, supporting the kitchen staff

  • Customer facing, taking orders and payments

  • Serving alcoholic drinks (if age 18+)

  • Clearing tables, setting up new tables

  • General housekeeping within the restaurant

  • Greeting customers

    Functional Skills Maths/English

  • Level 2 qualification in Hospitality Team Member, IT skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Presentation skills, Creative, Patience, GCSE or equivalent Maths/English (Grade 4) Desired
