Full Job Description

  • To coordinate and manage application and development projects towards HUBER+SUHNER's customers, including documentation

  • To provide a high level of support (technical, administrative, etc.) to our customers e.g. proposals, major quotes, contract reviews

  • To remain up to date with the latest techniques and technologies

  • To ensure that all relevant technical information, projects, etc. are communicated effectively throughout the organisation

  • To represent H + S at technical seminars and exhibitions

  • Assist in internal and external product training

  • Help generate new customer leads for sales force

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

  • Authorisation limits as per company DOA

  • Make customer visits as necessary to gain knowledge about our customers applications provide Customer, Project support Proposes and quotes "fit for purpose" solutions

  • Handles technical inquiries (Non-Standard Inquiries)

  • Coordinates prototype and pre-series production products

  • Participates in development projects within HUBER+SUHNER

  • Handles customer complaints on products and solutions

  • Creation of customer and internal drawings and specifications

  • Provides support to Internal sales, External sales and Project teams on Communications market enquiries

  • Provide support to production Engineering for non-standard, new, complex product builds

  • Maintain good relationships with AG to ensure that new product releases are communicated throughout the corporation and that constructive feedback is relayed correctly

  • Any other ad hoc duties as and when necessary, i.e. sales support, training, etc

    Bachelor or Master degree in electrical / mechanical engineering

  • Profound knowledge of engineering methods

  • Advanced commercial education is of advantage, e.g. costing methods, marketing essentials etc.

  • Practical knowledge / experience and operational experience in mechanics / electronics

  • Entrepreneur mentality

  • Willingness to cooperate in international and cross-functional teams

  • Good communicator, open minded, good presentation skills

  • Good English and German language skills (written and spoken)

  • Solution oriented, organized, independent / self-sufficient and structured way of working

  • Resourceful, pro-active acting, resilient (to be able to cope with strain / with heavy workload), patient, flexible

  • Experience with working in international, intercultural and cross functional teams

  • Advanced education in business economics or finance topics

  • Knowledge of creativity techniques and analysis methods: Mind Mapping, Brain storming, Ishikawa, Turtle Diagram, 5 Why, etc.

  • Excellent general technical knowledge of HUBER+SUHNER products

  • Excellent planning and implementation skills

  • Good administration skills

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Proficient in specific industrial applications, such as Cable Builder

  • Flexible and energetic approach, Technical support: 2 years (preferred)

  • Customer support: 2 years (preferred)


  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bicester OX26 4LA

    Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
