Full Job Description

Due to the need to modernise the service provided to the Health Board we are looking for a highly motivated, appropriately skilled, reliable and enthusiastic maintenance worker that is able to work well under pressure to carry out planned maintenance and day to day repairs within a hospital environment.
The post is working as part of a small day maintenance team within Nevill Hall Hospital, carrying out general maintenance tasks to include the changing of lamps, rewashering of taps, patch painting and application of mastic.
There is a requirement to provide shift cover when necessary., To maintain and repair the engineering services and building fabric across a large diverse healthcare estate.
To undertake supervised and unsupervised maintenance and repair work in order to continually develop skills and knowledge.
To utilise a variety of different communication devices and methods to receive instructions and disseminate complex engineering information. I.e. Pagers, email, mobile phones, technical drawings, written, verbal, etc.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
