Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to support their learning and development during their crucial early years., Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and tailoring teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development, including observations, assessments, and individual learning plans
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their self-esteem, confidence, and well-being
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care by following established protocols and procedures
Drive: Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality education and care for young children
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Management: Strong organizational skills to plan activities, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records
- Nursery/Childcare Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
- English Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with children and parents
- Early Childhood Education: Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices
- Experience with Children: Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Leadership: Ability to lead a team of educators and collaborate effectively with colleagues,
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 2 years (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
