Construction Manager

Pre-contract and contract phase duties will include but not be restricted to pre-contract planning and preparation, design clarification, Resource & Programme management and liaison with all interested stakeholders whilst having responsibility for all site activities to implement and maintain exemplary, efficient and safe working practices.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a background managing civil engineering contracts of significant value or multiple minor projects from contract start through to completion. The person will be a key member of the management team working for a main contractor that have the infrastructure and resources to provide support when required. Successful integration will lead to opportunities for further professional development and progression.

Candidates must have a SMSTS/ NVQ 6 or civil engineering degree. This may suit someone from an engineering, site management background looking to make the next step.
