Full Job Description

  • Travelling in your vehicle from home to home to support people with care and support needs.

  • Emotional support and companionship

  • Personal care e.g. assisting people with washing, showering, dressing, accessing the toilet

  • Administering prescribed medication (tablets, liquids, creams, inhalers etc)

  • Preparing light meals, snacks and drinks

  • Undertaking light domestic duties (laundry, making the bed, emptying bins, kitchen hygiene etc)

    Do you have a driving license & your own vehicle?

    We are an award winning family run care company who support people in their own homes across the Deeside area (Shotton, Connahs Quay, Mancot & Hawarden).

    We have a friendly, caring and supportive team and we are looking to recruit motivated and reliable Community Carers join us on our mission to support people to 'have a good day'.,
  • Health or Social Care: 1 year (preferred)


    • Licence/Certification:
  • NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)

  • Full Driving Licence & access to a vehicle (required)

    Enhanced pay rates for QCF Level 2 / 3 & Social Care Wales registration

  • Guaranteed contract hours - no zero hours contracts!

  • Work in the Deeside area only (Shotton, Connahs Quay, Mancot & Hawarden)

  • Fortnightly 'Team Meetings'

  • Monthly Rota

  • Competitive rates of pay

  • Paid mileage between visits @ 45p per mile (no claim forms - we calculate it for you)

  • Paid travel time between visits (no claim forms - we calculate it for you)

As we work across the Deeside area, we will currently be recruiting for drivers with access to their own vehicle.

    Pay: From £12.20 per hour

    Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
