Full Job Description

To lead on the delivery of the Humbercare Communications Strategy to achieve the Vision and Mission detailed within.
To collaborate closely with teams across the organisation to commission, develop and edit content for our communication channels including the website, social media, reports, newsletters and internally to staff and volunteers.
To lead on the development and delivery of communication plans to raise the profile of the organisation and promote our services, reports, outcomes, events, and other products to our target audiences.
To produce communications and promotional materials and to review and refresh branding ensuring relevant, fit for organisational purpose and in line with the digitalisation agenda.
To lead in the delivery of the Employee Engagement Strategy to achieve the Vision and Mission detailed within.
To lead in the successful award and maintenance of existing and future organisational accreditations and awards.
To provide a high-quality service, ensuring outstanding customer service and delivery by acting as an ambassador for Humbercare.

Your essential skills and requirements will include

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly skilled and experienced Communications Lead to join our team. We are looking for this dynamic individual to join our team on a full-time basis. If you are passionate about communications and have a creative flair, we would love to hear from you!, Media/Marketing/Communications qualification or relevant equivalent 2 years' experience working within a media, marketing, or communications environment.
Experience of delivering and evaluating communications plans.
Experience of producing branded event materials and publications from concept through to design and print.
Experience of producing newsletters and press releases.
Experience of uploading content for digital communication channels including website and social media.
Experience of design and photo editing programmes and design software, including Canva.
Experience/knowledge of the health and social care sector is desirable but not essential.
Skilful writing and copy-editing skills for a variety of channels and audiences.
Knowledge of website, social media and newsletter content management and customer relationship management systems.
Knowledge of evaluation tools including Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics.
Knowledge of new media opportunities.
