Cleaner (Monday -Friday Mornings)

We are a friendly pub located just off the Ipswich waterfront, with lots of character & charm. We pride ourselves on offering delicious meals, fresh cask ales, daily specials & a home from home for everyone who visits us.

The business is independently owned - part of small group with 60 + employees. One of three beautiful pubs; The Red Lion in Manningtree & The Marlborough Head in Dedham are The Nelson's sister pubs. We've invested throughout each pub in the last 18 months expanding our kitchens, added rooms, built a pizzeria. We are very supportive of our employees now & throughout lockdowns and are now growing our team.

Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9am-11am, with the occasional opportunity for overtime/holiday cover if wanted.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean, stock & supply facility areas.


• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming & mopping.


• Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks.


• Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required.
