Full Job Description

The main objective of this position is to effectively communicate and collaborate with high-level executives in various departments such as finance, human resources, and legal. By doing so, the job holder will gain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's requirements and priorities. This knowledge will then be utilised to implement category management strategies for specific areas of corporate spending or projects in a systematic and cohesive manner. Additionally, the role will involve overseeing the strategic and tactical management of procurement categories that fall under the scope of the procurement function, including professional services, business travel, business intelligence subscriptions, IP licensing, and preferred supplier lists for specific areas like recruitment and legal services.,

  • Lead procurement negotiation for main corporate spend category areas (Finance / Legal / HR etc.)

  • Engage and work closely with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and deliver suitable category strategy solutions for defined corporate spend areas across multi-site and global operations.

  • Steers strategic purchasing and sourcing activities for Indirect spend categories towards procurement best-practices objective.

  • Demonstrate Leadership in SHE (health and safety) and Core Values for Category Management and manage the defined Category for indirect Spend areas.

  • Manage, develop, and ensure competitive Indirect Category management in area of friction between cost benefits, sustainability, and security of production.

  • Develop and implement framework contracts to bundle spend volume and to support steering of purchase processing in categories.

  • Promote and initiate cross-functional and cross-country and group-wide cooperation with the definition and implementation of strategic category initiatives.

  • Steer, manage and implements concepts & systems to ensure an efficient spend management and solutions.

  • Support and report to Head of Category Management and consult collaborate with Indirect Procurement Organisation in terms of reports/targets.

  • Develop strategical supplier partnerships (incl. audits) to ensure sustainable and competitive Indirect Services and Goods management.

  • Ensure adherence to SHE guidelines within scope of responsibility and guarantee SHE-compliance considering internal, contractual, and legal regulations.

  • Management of the sourcing lifecycle from requirements, market analysis, supplier selection, tendering, contract, and price negotiation, SRM and performance \ SLA assessment.

    Education: Higher qualification. MCIPS advantage or Economic studies.
