Casual Hall Keeper

Bexley Library Service is looking to recruit a pool of Casual Hall Keepers to help us operate Crayford Community Centre and meeting rooms in Libraries across the borough.
The Community Centre is located above Crayford Library. The Community Centre has a large hall and meeting room that will is hired to local groups for a range of purposes that include fitness classes, educational courses, community group meetings and corporate or private functions.
You will ensure the Centre is accessible and safe for hirers, report any problems with the building if they arise while they are there and secure the building after it has been used. Your duties may include setting up the rooms to the Hirers requirements and packing away after a hire has finished.
Events and meetings are held in all Libraries across the borough so you may be asked to work in various locations.

It is likely that most bookings will be for evenings and weekends and any hours worked on Sundays will be paid at the enhanced rate. The Centre will be available for hire seven days per week and you may be asked to work before, during and after bookings to prepare, supervise and lock up after hirers have left the premises.
