Buyer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our team. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services to meet the company's needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with knowledge of various systems such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, MRP/ERP.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and conditions

- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies

- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions

Relevant CIPS qualification is desirable

- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role

- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles

- Proficiency in using supply chain management software (such as SAP, MRP/ERP etc.) and Microsoft Office suites.

- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
