Bar / Waiting Staff

Ahead of our big refurb this summer; we are looking to expand our Front of House team & are in search of multiple, part-time, flexible candidates to join our existing staff & assist us in driving the business forward as we embark on a brand new, exciting chapter!, Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately on the tills
- Deliver orders promptly to tables and adhere to food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation and ensure presentation meets restaurant standards
- Provide recommendations, upsell menu items, and address any customer inquiries or special requests

-Adhere to all health & safety policies including our company allergens process & ensure all personal online training is up to date at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and set up tables for new guests
- Handle guest payments and operate the POS system efficiently
-Serve drinks in a timely manner & present to a high standard inc draught largers

Due to the increased business levels we are expecting following the refurb, we have multiple part-time positions available to fill (ranging from 8-30hour pw depending on your requirements); weekends & evenings are required (on a rota basis) & due to the nature of the business, key holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Mothers day etc... will be required & flexibility is a must.

We are looking for candidates with experience in busy restaurants / bars that aren't afraid of hard work, enjoy the busy hustle & bustle of a thriving business & love working as part of a large team. There is huge scope within M&B for progression, whether that be in our business or in another local site; so candidates looking for a long-term career in hospitality are encouraged to apply., Previous experience in the hospitality industry or as a Server is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist colleagues when needed
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Familiarity with basic math for handling payments accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Culinary knowledge is a plus for understanding menu items and ingredients
