Full Job Description
Our mature parkland course is amongst the best members' courses in the region. We regularly host leading events including the Midland Amateur Championships and Mizuno Pairs tour events.
In the last few years we have hosted the English Schools Championships, Midlands Schools Championships, and international fixtures.
This year we are again looking forward to being home to the Derbyshire Amateur Championships.
We continue to invest in our golf course. We've recently contracted renowned golf course architect Jonathan Gaunt to oversee the future development of the course and will be working with the R&A on a full course drainage survey.
We're constantly looking to improve and develop - with a strong team of staff at the forefront of our progress.
As part of our greens team you'll play a key role in that and have the opportunity to develop your skills through on-going training.
- Minimum of NVQ level 2 in sports turf management (or equivalent).
- Good understanding of health and safety.
- A good understanding of machinery operation.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Flexible, organised and hands on approach
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates.
- Chainsaw licence CS30 CS31 (desirable).
- 28 days holiday (Including Public and Bank Holidays) - rising to 33 days after five years continuous service

This is a physically demanding role which requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary: Up to £28,382 dependant on experience and qualifications (pay review pending)
