Architectural metalwork draughtsperson

You will join a team and your role will involve mainly:

1. Producing design and detail drawings for architectural staircases, balustrades, and steelwork structures for manufacture.

2. Site surveying and measurements when required.

3. Liaise with clients, estimators, contract managers, shop floor and installation/site operatives.

4. Knowledge of fabrication and installation processes

5. Production of

• Cutting lists


• Approve drawings from specifications


• Split drawings into fabrication plans


• Produce material list for procurement


• Prepare installation plans
  
  A position has arisen for a Design Draughtsperson who is familiar with the design and detailing of architectural metalwork using Auto CAD 2D & 3D (3D beneficial but not essential)


Applicants from other construction trades would be considered with a moderate number of years' experience, You must be able to work independently.

You must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office.

Steelwork fabrication background & experience would be beneficial.

A full driving licence would be beneficial.

You must be eligible to live and work within the UK. Sponsorship is not provided.
