Full Job Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as an Acquisition Project Manager at Clarke Telecom. This senior role holder will be accountable for ensuring the E2E delivery of the Project(s) as agreed from time to time. The role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of the project(s) to time, cost and quality both from an internal perspective in in relation to client service level agreements., Delivery

  • Where applicable ensure the creation of the Project Initiation Document (PID)

  • Ensure effective project delivery management by delivering to plan in line with SLAs and client KPI's

  • Acceptance of the sites following declaration from the Regional Project Manager

  • Ensuring all on site activities are managed to operational high standards and within the commercial budgetary constraints

  • Liaison with the Site Delivery Managers of Clarke Telecom on site issues and resolutions

  • Post PID lead, develop and define the Project Delivery Plan with the client

  • Provision of forecasts of accesses and lockdowns


  • Supplier Management
  • Ordering of equipment for sites, subsequently ensuring successful programming and delivery of all equipment

  • Ensuring Clarify cases are raised

  • Management of Internal departments and sub-contractors to deliver to set SLA's.

  • Management of Sub Contractors issues and risks, billing etc. to ensure smooth project deliverables

  • Organising and running site by site reviews with Sub Contractors


  • Client Management
  • Attending site by site reviews with customer as required

  • Reporting up to Senior Management of the business and to the customer when required

  • Attendance on Ad Hoc Project calls as required by the Customer

  • Provision of forecasts of BPR and Lockdown

  • Attend regular meetings, conference calls to ensure client has sufficient visibility to delivery of the project


  • Finance/Budget
  • Accountable for ensuring accurate budget & resource management to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the project as well as ensuring net profit margins are achieved each month

  • Liaison internally with Finance and commercial to site specifics and costs

  • Budget management & flash reporting

  • Resolution and escalation of acquisition issues and risks

  • Accountable for the closure and collection of any outstanding monies due throughout the project life Particular focus to close out any outstanding WIP greater than 12 months old

    Essential

  • Excellent Project Management Skills - Experience in Telecoms Acquisition

  • Experience in Vendor Management as part of a project delivery

  • Advanced IT Skills (Excel, Word, Access etc)

  • Experience within a similar role

  • Valid driving license


  • Desirable
  • MRICS qualified

  • Prince or APM qualified

  • Exposure to Telecoms Operators
